Carrie was very generous and caring. She was also a loyal friend and I got to talk to her a lot and we would talk about what had happened in her life at John Reed. She would also tell me a lot of family stories and that was where Lisa came in to help explain to me what Carrie was saying was happening. Carrie was so outgoing and eager to move in to the Crumley apartment before her passing. Before going home to John Reed she would always tell us, "I love you guys." And that is the memory that I will always have stand out to me and in my heart. ~Justin
Carrie was an inspiration. She knew she had a long road to hoe, but she never gave up. She had the heart of a lion and she was funny. She was my "peanut butter buddy". I will never forget each time it was her birthday, she had them make her a no-sugar peanut butter pie and she always sent me a piece. One year she was cutting me a piece and dropped the whole pie on the floor and didn't get any for herself. It made me feel quite quilty, but she laughed about it. She will be greatly missed by me. We always had each other's back. ~Trish
Carrie was an inspiration to me. She was so sweet and nice. I know I will miss her terribly. I knew Carrie the whole time I have been at Crumley. She has been a good friend to me, but I know that she is in a better place than here with me. ~Jeff
A FRIEND - a poem by Randy
Carrie was a very good friend of mine.
Anytime I needed a friend
She was always there.
But a lot of people think that now she is gone
They should be sad.
But I see it as a happy time.
No more pain, no more wheelchair.
She will be made whole
Carrie will be complete again.
And she is with her son whom she loved.
Now she is spending eternity with him
And making him laugh and smile.
GOD BE WITH CARRIES FAMILY DRAW THEM CLOESTO YOU JUSTIN....
1 THING I WAS NODICED ABOUT HER IS CARRIE COULD TELL IT LIKE IT WAS!
